2003 bin ich ohne Vorbereitung zu einem Triathlon der Olympischen Distanz gefahren, habe mitgemacht und bin noch nicht mal letzter geworden! Das gab Lust auf neue Ziele und schnell war klar, dass eine Langdistanz her musste. Bis heute habe ich deren vier gefinished, nicht sehr spektakulär, bin eben  jemand aus der goldenen Mitte...
Im Mai 2010 kommt eine weiterer dazu, IM  Brasil zum Dritten! Ich fahre mit dem Triathlon-Profi Olaf Sabatschus nach Florianopolis, wir sind beide begeisterte "Brasilianer", haben ein kleines Hotel reserviert und nehmen bis zu 20 Personen mit auf die Reise.

2003 I went to a Olympic-Distance-Triathlon, entered to the race and not even finished as last! That has made a lot motivation to new  goals, and very fast I decided to make a Long-Distance- Race. Until today I´ve made four of these, not very sensational, seems I am a guy of the happy medium...
In May 2010 I will do the next, the IM Brazil as third time! I will travel with Triathlon-Professional Olaf Sabatschus to Florianopolis, we both are infectet with the "Brasil-Virus",  and we reserved a small Hotel and take until 20 Athlets with us.

2003 Viajei para um Triathlon Olimpico sem preparação, fiz a prova e nem terminei como ultimo! Isso me deu vontade de conhecer novos destinos e rapidamente decidei entrar numa prova de distância longa. Até hoje consegui terminar quatro dessas, nao muito sensacional, parece que sou uma pessoa do meio...
Em maio de 2010 vou fazer a proxima prova: IM Brasil ! A tercera vez ! Vou junto com o Triathlon-Professional Olaf Sabatschus para Florianopolis. Nós dois, apaixonados para Brasil, reservamos uma Pousada e queremos levar maximo 20 pessoas juntos.
